DUO two-step login is mandatory for all University of Oregon students and staff, including for online courses. Students will need to use Two-step (DUO) authentication at the time of their exam to successfully log in to Canvas  and complete their exam. Cell phone use is not allowed during testing, so this is done by generating a DUO passcode.

What is DUO?

Two-step login protects your university account by verifying your identity using two forms of ID.

• Your Duck ID credentials
• Your phone app or hardware token.

You will need to generate a DUO authentication code to access your exam.
